We are excited to announce that Nolan Myrick has been selected as the new Varsity Men’s Basketball Head Coach at Burlington Christian Academy.

With over 25 seasons of coaching experience, ranging from youth leagues to Division I collegiate programs, Nolan brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to fostering athletic excellence, character development, and teamwork. A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a lifelong Tar Heels Basketball enthusiast, Nolan is dedicated to helping our athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court.

Guided by Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it," Nolan emphasizes leadership, accountability, and a strong work ethic in his coaching. His leadership has seen numerous players advance to collegiate and professional levels, reflecting his focus on personalized development and strategic game planning.

Nolan’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a Coaching Concentration from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from UNC-Chapel Hill. Beyond his coaching achievements, he has been recognized for his ability to build lasting relationships within the community, organize basketball clinics and workshops, and mentor assistant coaches.

Nolan also takes great pride in his role as a husband to his wife, Tammy, and as a father to their two daughters, Tate (8th grade) and Nylie (3rd grade). We are confident that Nolan’s passion for basketball, his faith, and his dedication to family will make a significant impact on our program and our athletes.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Myrick and his family to the BCA community!
